Different Types

Composite Resin Veneers
What are they?
Made from a multilayered composite resin; each layer is hardened with a bright light.
How are they applied?
First, we slightly ‘roughen up’ the surface of your teeth using a mild chemical (which helps the veneer to adhere to your tooth enamel). We then apply multiple layers of composite resin, taking care to harden each layer as it’s applied. Once the last layer is applied and hardened, we shape and polish the tooth for a smooth, natural finish.
Porcelain Veneers
What are they?
Made from porcelain that is applied like a thin shell or casing over top of each tooth.
How are they applied?
During your initial visit, we may remove a thin layer of enamel to make space for the application. We then take a mold of your teeth and affix temporary veneers. Then, during your next scheduled visit, we affix your custom-made veneers (that perfectly fit the size and shape of your teeth) using the same bonding procedure we use in composite resin.
